Mopar Invades 2005 PRI Show

Speed Channel's SpeedFreaks once again brought all the action of the 18th Annual Performance Racing Industry trade show to the Freak Nation by teaming up with Mopar and the Mopar Speedshop. SpeedFreaks kicked off the event with a live shoot from the Mopar Speedshop stage, giving PRI attendees a chance to see the four-show taping held on Thursday, December 1. Team Mopar guests for the programs included 2005 World of Outlaws Late Model Series championship runner-up Steve Francis and newly signed Tony Stewart Motorsports hotshoe Paul McMahan. The shows shot on location from the PRI Trade Show will air on the following dates: Saturday, December 10 at 12 p.m.; Saturday, December 17 at 11:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 24 at 11:30 p.m. (Rerun of show featuring Tony Stewart); Sunday, January 1 at 11:30 p.m.; and Sunday, January 14 at 11:30 p.m. (All times EST). Guests will be announced in the coming weeks. SpeedFreaks also played host to the Mopar press conference on December 1, as they announced the Mopar Engine Builder Challenge contest. Mopar's Jon Clark and SuperFlow's Steve Matthieson joined SpeedFreaks on stage to announce the event, which will appeal to all small block engine builders in the country. Applications are currently being accepted for the Mopar Engine Builder Challenge. Eight finalists will be announced at Mopars at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway om March 24-25 of 2006.
