Position: College: Boston College Height: 6-8 Weight: 313 40-yard dash: 5.54 Bench press: 410 pounds (bench presses 225 pounds 30 times) Hometown: Bridgewater, Mass. Colombo is the next in what has been a long line of good, solid offensive linemen to come out of Boston College. He played all of 2000 on the right side but moved to the left side after three games this year. He is the typical BC lineman - a mauler who generally outworks his opponent and has a mean streak to him. He has a good frame and long arms, though he could afford to put on a little more weight. His footwork is good, but it is enhanced by the fact that he usually gets a good jump off the line of scrimmage. He has a strong upper body but needs to do a lot of work on his lower body. Right now, he is more of a right tackle, but he has shown some ability to play on the left side as well. If Colombo keeps improving his footwork, he may very well end up on the left side in the pros.
