FOXSports.com's Top 32 Draft Rankings
No.TeamPlayerPos.CollegePrev.↑ or ↓High/Low
1 Houston QB Fresno State 1st 1/1
The Texans have tabbed Carr as their franchise player.
2 Carolina DE North Carolina 2nd 2/2
Peppers becomes their man as they envision him becoming another Michael Strahan.
3 Detroit CB Texas 3rd 3/6
Joey Harrington has gotten more consideration this week, but Matt Millen prefers going with a defensive player.
4 Buffalo DT Tennessee 8th (+4) 4/12
The Bills are really intrigued by the upside Haynesworth possesses as they continue to retool their run defense.
5 San Diego OT Texas 5th 4/9
The Chargers would love Jammer to fall here, but they will gladly take Williams to upgrade their offensive line.
6 Dallas CB Miami, Fla. 11th (+5) 6/14
The Cowboys absolutely love the difference Buchanon can make on defense and special teams.
7 Minnesota OT Miami, Fla. 7th 4/7
McKinnie would be a nice fit if he fell to the Vikings here. Otherwise, they could go for a defensive lineman or address the secondary.
8 Kansas City DT North Carolina 8th 4/14
The Chiefs need to address the defensive tackle position with someone who will take up space against the run and free up their perimeter players.
9 Jacksonville DT Wisconsin 9th 7/12
The Jaguars would be very pleased to see an offensive tackle fall to them here, but have no problems taking Bryant to replenish their loses at defensive tackle.
10 Cincinnati QB Oregon 10th 4/18
This has to be a no-brainer for the Bengals if the Redskins don't trade up.
11 Indianapolis S Oklahoma 6th (-5) 3/11
They could go for a much coveted defensive lineman, but Williams would be the safest pick.
12 Arizona DT Tennessee 14th (+2) 8/21
Henderson would give the Cardinals a stud in the middle of their defense.
13 New Orleans DE Georgia 12th (-1) 12/ —
Grant is still developing, but he has the ability to fill the hole created by the loss of Joe Johnson.
14 Tennessee WR Tennessee 13th (-1) 5/19
All of the defensive targets they like could be gone, which forces the Titans to go with their highest rated player.
15 N.Y. Giants TE Miami, Fla. 15th 9/15
The Giants could go for a wide receiver, but they really like the tools Shockey brings to them at tight end.
16 Cleveland RB Michigan State 16th 16/25
The Browns will also keep their options open at a few positions, but they figure to fill their need at running back with Duckett.
17 Atlanta WR Hawaii 17th 13/28
Look for the Falcons to add another playmaker to build around Michael Vick. Lelie has the speed to form a deadly combination with Vick. It wouldn't be a surprise if they trade up with Tennessee if Donte' Stallworth falls to the Titans.
18 Washington QB Tulane 18 18/ —
If they can't trade up for Harrington, the Redskins could either reach here or trade down for Ramsey.
19 Denver S Miami, Fla. 24th (+5) 19/30
Reed would be the smartest pick the Broncos could make to address the mental breakdowns they had in the secondary last season.
20 Seattle TE Colorado 20th 19/32
Graham would help give the Seahawks much better production from the tight end position if Mike Holmgren can't pull off a trade to move them up the board.
21 Oakland
(from TB)
CB Florida 22nd (+1) 21/26
Sheppard would be a great addition to their secondary to replace Eric Allen in a year while making an immediate impact on special teams.
22 N.Y. Jets CB Miami, Fla. 27th (+5) 22/ —
Rumph has good size and could be a solid fit in the Jets' cover two scheme.
23 Oakland RB Boston College 23/ —
Al Davis would find it tough to pass on a potential marquee running back that has dropped.
24 Baltimore DE South Carolina 21th (-3) 9/24
They Ravens would be very happy to see one of the top defensive lineman fall to them. Otherwise, they could go with Levi Jones.
25 New Orleans
(from MIA)
WR Pittsburgh 31st (+6) 13/ —
The Saints continue to look for speed in the passing game. Bryant is a rangy athlete who fits in well with Joe Horn and Jerome Pathon.
26 Philadelphia C/OG Colorado 26th 20/27
The Eagles would love Ed Reed, but Gurode addresses the lack of toughness in the middle last season. Gurode would open holes that couldn't be opened last season.
27 San Francisco OT Arizona State 29th (+2) 14/29
They hope either Lito Sheppard or Levi Jones fall to them. Jones would give them a left tackle of the future.
28 Green Bay DT Notre Dame 28/ —
The Packers have been looking into further bolstering their defensive line. Weaver is a bit of a reach, but he's a safe pick.
29 Chicago OT Florida 29/ —
The Bears don't like the pass rushers here, so they are strongly considering Pearson.
30 Pittsburgh OG Nebraska 30th 14/ —
They could go for an offensive lineman here to develop for the 2003 season or for a free safety that would challenge for immediate playing time.
31 St. Louis WR Florida 19st (-12) 13/31
The Rams are keeping their options open, but Gaffney would be a hard guy to pass up if he falls.
32 New England WR Virginia Tech 32/ —
The Patriots want to continue adding speed. They have been very intrigued by the downfield scoring potential of Davis.
