Notes:
  • The running of the Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Superspeedway will be the fourth time Kasey has competed at the 1.33-mile oval.
  • The Great Clips team is taking chassis #36 to Nashville this weekend. This chassis competed in the Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway earlier this season as well as North Carolina Speedway and Darlington Raceway. Last season chassis #36 also competed at Nashville Superspeedway (first race), Bristol Motor Speedway (second race), Pikes Peak International Raceway and North Carolina Speedway (second race).
  • World of Outlaws standout Tyler Walker will practice, qualify and run Happy Hour for Kasey this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. Kasey's commitments in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series will prevent him from Friday's activities at Nashville, however, he will compete in the Federated Auto Parts 300 on Saturday evening.
  • The Great Clips team sits in 12th position in the overall NASCAR Busch Series points. Last weekend at Dover International Speedway, the team finished the rain-delayed event in seventh position after starting in fourth for the 200-lap race. When the race was halted due to inclement weather Saturday, Kasey had fallen to 35th position after making contact with the driver of the No. 46 car. Kasey was able to work his way from the rear of the field to post his fifth top-10 finish of the season.
  • Kasey's statistics at Nashville Superspeedway

    Kasey's thoughts on Nashville Superspeedway:
"I really like racing at Nashville. It's a nice facility and a fun track to race on We've always had extremely fast cars, but we've had some bad luck. Earlier this season we finished in the top 10, so we're looking to win this one! I've got all the confidence in Tyler getting a good setup for me to race with on Saturday, so it should be a fun weekend."

Tyler Walker's thoughts on substituting for Kasey this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway:
"I can't put into words how excited I am about this opportunity to practice, qualify and run Happy Hour this weekend. It's the best opportunity I've ever had, and I just hope I can do a good job for Great Clips and Akins Motorsports. I don't know if my World of Outlaws experience will transfer over to the Busch car at all, but hopefully I'll be able to get a good setup in the car for Kasey to race on Saturday. Because our backgrounds are similar, I am hoping that our setups will be pretty close to the same as well."
