Charles Tillman Scouting Report

Tillman is what the NFL is looking for in its corners from a physical standpoint. He has good height, size, and speed. He played safety this year but isn't big or strong enough for that in the NFL. He is a physical corner and likes to jam receivers. He does a good job of knocking them off their routes as well. He has good instincts and feel for the position. Tillman has some quickness to him and can close on the ball. He is an excellent jump ball defender. While he has good speed, he struggles with faster receivers because he doesn't have fluid hips. When he turns and runs with receivers, he loses some of his speed. He is also a long strider who takes time to get up to full speed. Tillman is a good tackler and will step up versus the run.
