News: Johnson closed with a disappointing four-over 74 on Sunday to finish two-under and T27 at the Honda Classic.
Impact: Johnson had his sights set near the top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round after posting three consecutive scores below 70, but three bogeys and a double bogey to just one birdie cause Johnson to fall outside the top 25. His 2017 campaign thus far included two top-15 finishes to go along with a missed cut, while he'll look to remain a bit more steady at the upcoming WGC-Mexico Championship.

News: Johnson fired a four-under 67 on Sunday at the Waste Management Phoenix Open to finish 11-under and T12.
Impact: Johnson was a bit inconsistent throughout the week with scores of 70-66-70-67, but he was ultimately able to finish inside the Top-15 for the third time this season. He ended up second among the field in strokes gained putting, but his ball striking was less-than-stellar as he lost strokes tee-to-green. The 37th-ranked player in the world won't be in the field for this week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

News: Johnson carded a three-day score of three-under-par to miss the cut by two strokes at the CareerBuilder Challenge.
Impact: Johnson posted just one-under-par round this past week as he struggled to hit greens in regulation (32-of-54). He won't be in the field for this week's Farmers Insurance Open, but he may return for the following week's Phoenix Open, where he finished 14th in 2016.
    Rotowire: Jan 16 / 1:10p ET
News: Johnson shot a two-under 68 in the final round of the Sony Open to come home in a tie for sixth place.
Impact: Johnson started the final round as Justin Thomas' closest pursuer seven shots back. He needed to have a crazy low round an get some help from the leader but none of those things happened. Johnson had five birdies to three bogeys for his 68 on Sunday. His low round of the week was a 61 in his second round that featured a hole-out eagle on the par-5 18th. Johnson ranked 11th in strokes gained tee-to-green and was eighth in putts per green. This was his first top-10 finish since the Bridgestone Invitational in July. He will look to post another solid finish at the CareerBuilder Challenge this week.
