Patrick Reed sinks clutch eagle to grab share of U.S. Open lead

Patrick Reed is looking for his first major championship this weekend at the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay.

Shots like the one above will certainly help that cause.

Reed headed into the 12th hole at 5-under before he lined up this gorgeous eagle to grab a share of the lead with Dustin Johnson at 7-under.

Johnson slid to 4-under by the end of Round 2, but Reed finished 5-under and tied for first with Jordan Spieth heading into the weekend.

Meanwhile, Chris Kirk showed a little magic of his own on Friday with this nifty eagle on the par-4 10.
