Stewart Hagestad rallied Thursday from four down with five holes to play to beat Scott Harvey and win the U.S. Mid-Amateur title.

Harvey, the 2014 champion at this event, had been in control throughout the 36-hole championship match, never trailing and being as much as five up on the day, before the 25-year-old Hagestad turned it on down the stretch at Stonewall.

Hagestad made birdies on the 32nd, 33rd, 35th and 36th holes to win each of them and force extras. Here's a look at that phenomenal run:

He then finished with another birdie on the 37th hole. His tee shot on the par-3 9th hole found the green and ran past the hole. Harvey also found the green but missed a long birdie putt. Hagestad stepped up and knocked his down to win the title:

By winning, Hagestad gets an invitation to the Masters.
