RIVIERA BEACH, Fla.

The son of PGA golfer Dana Quigley was rushed to a Florida hospital after his BMW smashed into the back of a semi-truck in Riviera Beach, WPTV reported late Thursday.

Devon Quigley was taken to Saint Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach following the accident late Wednesday night.

WPTV said sources confirmed he was still recovering in the hospital, but his condition remained unknown.

Television images showed the BMW lodged underneath the base of the truck in front of Lone Pine Estates. It was unclear what caused the collision.

Dana Quigley, 64, who has become a leading player on the Senior PGA Tour after an unremarkable early career, is a resident in the nearby town of Jupiter.
