Lunn heading to job with Aussie tour
Veteran golfer Karen Lunn will retire and become the executive-director of the Australian Ladies' Professional Golf tour beginning in September.
The Ladies European Tour, where Lunn has been chairman of the board since 2004, made the announcement Thursday.
The Sydney-born Lunn won 10 tournaments on the LET, including the 1993 Women's British Open, in a 29-year career. She also has four wins on the Australian tour and one each in Thailand and Malaysia.
The European tour said Helena Alterby Nordstrom, who has been vice chairman since 2010, will take over the chairman's role.
