English golfer Simon Dyson carded a final-round 66 on Sunday to claim his third KLM Open crown in six years.
Dyson, who began the day two shots behind joint third round leaders Gary Orr and James Kingston, birdied four of the last seven holes to clinch his second title of the year, one stroke ahead of compatriot David Lynn.
Dyson, who won the Irish Open in July, says his latest victory in the KLM Open is ''something special. A dream come true, really.''
U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy finished third, one shot ahead of Orr. South Africa's Kingston settled for sixth at 7 under after bogeying three of the first nine of his final 18 holes to finish the day with a 73.
Lee Westwood had to be content with fifth place despite firing his second 66 of the tournament.
