News: Harrington outlasted Andy Sullivan by one stroke in the Portugal Masters to capture his 15th career EURO Tour victory, and his first win worldwide since the 2015 Honda Classic.
Impact: Following two missed cuts and a T63 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Harrington really came out of nowhere to emerge victorious this week. He carded an outstanding 26 birdies and an eagle on the week relative to just four bogeys, and with this win eclipsed the top 100 of the OWGR for the first time in over a year. Harrington will look to keep this momentum going following a break in action.

News: Harrington struggled to a 2-over 73 Sunday to tie for 21st at the Olympics.
Impact: In the first Olympic golf action since 1904, Harrington managed to post three rounds of par of better. The Irishman struggled Sunday though with five bogeys versus just three birdies, but still managed to notch his second top-25 in his last three events.

News: Harrington closed with a 2-under 68 Sunday to tie for 13th at the PGA Championship, his best finish at the event since 2009.
Impact: Harrington turned back time a bit this year as he surged forward with a third-round 65 and backed it up with a closing 68 to jump into the top 15. Harrington was solid throughout his game but putted notably well this week as he finished 16th in strokes gained putting. Don't expect Paddy to consistently produce like this but it was refreshing to see the Irishman find his game for at least one week.
