News: Hurley posted a two-under 69 in the final round of the Genesis Open to finish in a tie for 28th place.
Impact: Hurley started the week off with a four-under 67 that put him in the top-five after the first round, but played the last 54 holes in just one-under. He really struggled with his ball striking as he was 51st in strokes gained tee-to-green for the week. Hurley's scrambling ability helped him to avoid dropping too many strokes as he was third in strokes gained around-the-green. He has made six of eight cuts so far with two top-25 finishes which is actually just one off his total from last season. Hurley will tee it up at the Honda Classic this week.

News: Hurley shot a two-under 68 in the final round of the Sony Open to finish in a tie for 20th place.
Impact: Hurley turned an even-par round into a two-under round with an eagle on the final hole. His irons and wedges were dialed in this week as he was fifth in the field in strokes gained approach-to-green. He just wasn't really able to capitalize on his chances like he would have liked to as he ranked just 54th in putts per green. Hurley's best finish this season is a T15 at the Shriners Open. He will not tee it up at the CareerBuilder Challenge this week.
