FIRST 100 YEARS

Relive USA's greatest moments through their 100 year history.

The United States will open its 2014 World Cup preparations with an exhibition against South Korea on Feb. 1 at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

The game, announced Monday, is not on a FIFA fixture date, which means most Europe-based players will not be available.

It will be the first match between the countries since their 1-1 draw during the group stage at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, which South Korea co-hosted with Japan.

Both teams will learn their first-round World Cup opponents on Friday, when the draw is held in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil.
