Shea completes move to Barnsley

Stoke winger Brek Shea has joined Barnsley on an emergency loan, the Barclays Premier League club have confirmed.

United States international Shea will spend 28 days with the Tykes, who are in the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone.

The 23-year-old has made only five appearances for the Potters since signing for them from FC Dallas in January 2013. Shea has signed a four-and-half-year contract and moves from the Major League Soccer club for 2.5 million pounds ($4 million).
