GIANT TWERK!

USA stars got into the pre-Halloween spirit once again.

They were among 18 players selected by U.S. coach Tom Sermanni for the game. Bayern midfielder Erika Tymrak, who made her debut Sept. 3 against Mexico, is also on the roster for the U.S.

The Americans are 12-0-3 in 2013 and seeking their second undefeated year of 10 or more games. The Americans were 18-0-4 in 2006.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Lindsey Horan, who made her only national team appearance in March, was selected and also is expected to be part of the U.S. team in qualifying for next year's FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup.

Defender Stephanie Cox, a veteran of two World Cups who did not play against Australia on Oct. 20, could make her first national team appearance since April 2012. She gave birth to her first child April 7.

Five players weren't picked because of European Champions League matches: Megan Rapinoe of Lyon, and Ali Krieger, Meghan Klingenberg, Christen Press and Whitney Engen of Sweden's Tyreso.

The roster:

Goalkeepers: Nicole Barnhart (Kansas City), Alyssa Naeher (Boston), Hope Solo (Seattle)

Defenders: Rachel Buehler (Portland), Stephanie Cox (Seattle), Kristie Mewis (Kansas City), Christie Rampone (Sky Blue), Leigh Ann Robinson (Kansas City), Becky Sauerbrunn (Kansas City)

Midfielders: Yael Averbuch (no club), Amber Brooks (Bayern Munich, Germany), Lauren Holiday (Kansas City), Carli Lloyd (Western New York), Heather O'Reilly (Boston), Erika Tymrak (Bayern Munich, Germany)

Forwards: Lindsey Horan (Paris Saint-Germain, France), Sydney Leroux (Boston), Alex Morgan (Portland), Abby Wambach (Western New York)
