Brek Shea took the first step toward establishing himself as a fixture at Stoke City on Saturday. The former FC Dallas midfielder climbed off the bench in the first half and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat at Fulham. Shea patrolled his usual spot on the left flank and showed flashes of his quality. The January signing still faces a significant battle for playing time as he settles into the squad, but his initial offering provides a platform for him to push onwards as the Premier League season winds to a close.

Fulham continued Stoke's barren run away from The Britannia with a 1-0 victory on Saturday. Dimitar Berbatov separated the sides in this drab affair with a typically deft volley in first-half stoppage time. Cameron assumed his usual duties in defense, but he departed the affair after 51 minutes. Shea made his Stoke debut when he replaced the injured Matthew Etherington in the 24th minute.

Chandler delivered his second assist in as many weeks to help Nürnberg snatch a 1-1 draw at VfB Stuttgart on Saturday. The enterprising right back played Markus Feulner through to notch the equalizer in the 77th minute. The draw keeps Nürnberg nine points clear of the relegation zone with 11 matches left to play.

Jones followed up his equalizer at Galatasaray in midweek with an assist in Schalke's 2-1 home victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday. The combative midfielder nodded down to prompt Joel Matip's opener after 29 minutes and subsequently procured yet another booking five minutes before the break. Matip grabbed his second nine minutes from time to hand Schalke its first league win in 12 attempts.

Poor weather did not keep Bradley from marking his return to the side with an assist as AS Roma won 3-2 at Atalanta on Sunday. Roma manager Aurelio Andreazzoli restored Bradley in central midfield after dropping him for the 1-0 victory over Juventus last weekend. Bradley repaid the faith in snowy Bergamo by clipping a clever ball over the top for Vasilis Torosidis' winner after 71 minutes. The victory leaves Roma five points adrift of the European places.

The aspiring U.S. forward scored his tenth goal of the season in the 3-3 draw at Red Bull Salzburg on Sunday. Boyd opened his 2013 account three minutes after the interval to spark a furious second half exchange that ultimately yielded five goals and a point for both sides. Rapid now sits three points behind Red Bull in the chase for the second Champions League place.
