LONDON (AP)

English third-tier club Tranmere says it has suspended manager Ronnie Moore while he is investigated by the Football Association for potentially breaking betting regulations.

The details of the allegations have not been announced, but FA rules prevent Moore from betting on any competition which involves his team.

Tranmere says Moore is ''suspended until the conclusion of a Football Association investigation into a potential breach of betting rules.''
