MADRID (AP)

Spain's disciplinary committee fined Atletico Madrid 602 euros ($825) after one of its spectators hit Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo in the head with a cigarette lighter.

Ronaldo was struck by the yellow object thrown from the Vicente Calderon stands as the Portugal forward was leaving the field at halftime of Tuesday's Copa del Rey semifinal.

The referee made note of the incident in his match report, while Ronaldo was not seriously injured and was able to play on.

Madrid won 2-0 to advance to the final.
