Cassano to remain at Inter
Inter Milan forward Antonio Cassano will remain at the San Siro next season, says the Italian's agent Beppe Bozzo.
The 30-year old was involved in a spat with former manager Andrea Stramaccioni last season, putting his Inter future in doubt, but the appointment of Walter Mazzarri means he will be given a fresh start.
Cassano has one year remaining on his contract with the Serie A side and Bozzo says he expects the striker to be part of the set-up again next season.
"He'll stay at Inter," he told Tuttosport.
"I think that Inter will have a great squad at their disposal next season too.
"President Massimo Moratti will buy players who will fit in with new coach Walter Mazzarri's style of play.
"They'll also benefit in the new season from not having any European commitments to deal with."
Bozzo also admitted that Inter could be involved in a swap deal for Genoa striker Alberto Gilardino with Ezequiel Schelotto heading the other way.
"That is a possibility and we have the time to turn that into something more," he said.
