Kyle Letheren will start in goal for Kilmarnock after Cammy Bell was ruled out for 10 weeks after breaking his wrist.

Garry Hay (knee) and Paul Heffernan (collarbone) remain out for Killie, while youngsters Robbie Muirhead and Ross Fisher are also sidelined.

Dundee United winger Gary Mackay-Steven is set to play despite the prospect of going in for a knee operation early next week.

Mackay-Steven has bone bruising and needs surgery but playing at Rugby Park will not do any more damage.

Johnny Russell is free to play after his red card in the Dundee derby was reduced to a yellow.
