Brizuela found space on the edge of the penalty box and launched a low shot that went in off the post to win the points for Toluca in a game that didn't produce many clear scoring opportunities.

Cruz Azul came from behind against Morelia, which took the lead through Ricardo Da Silva in the 26th minute. Rogelio Chavez equalized in the 37th from the penalty spot, with Mauro Formica giving Cruz Azul the lead two minutes before halftime.

Chavez added his second with a shot from 40 yards one minute from the end.

Luduena put Pumas ahead in the 8th, with Raul Jimenez equalizing in the 26th.
