League-leading Tigres lost 2-1 to Pumas on Sunday, its first defeat in Mexico's top division this season.

Argentine Martin Bravo volleyed in the winner for Pumas from a corner in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Villa had headed Tigres into the lead in the 8th before Hugo Ayala deflected an in-swinging freekick into his own net to equalize for Pumas.

In other Round 14 matches, Atlas remained in second spot but narrowed the gap on Tigres with a 2-2 draw against San Luis, while America remained in third place only one point further back following its 1-1 draw with Leon.

Mauro Matos seemed to have snatched a victory for San Luis when he netted in the 90th minute, but a finish by Isaac Brizuela from inside the box three minutes later, deep in second-half injury time, leveled the scores.

Matias Vuoso put Atlas into the lead in the 32nd, with David Salazar getting San Luis' first in the 77th.

Christian Benitez scored the equalizer for America on Saturday after Leon took the lead in the 4th minute via a penalty from Matias Britos.

In other weekend matches, Santos Laguna won 2-1 against Toluca, Cruz Azul defeated Tijuana 5-0, Monterrey overcame Pachuca 2-0, Morelia got a 1-0 victory against Queretaro, Puebla lost 2-1 to Jaguares and Atlante beat Chivas 2-1.

Toluca's Lucas Silva finished in the 29th, but Cesar Ibanez leveled in the 66th from close range and Oribe Peralta rounded the goalkeeper to secure Santos Laguna the win four minutes later.
