MANCHESTER CITY v REAL MADRID

WHY MAN CITY WILL WIN

City comes into this game needing a win to stay alive in Europe. The kings of the Premier League have struggled badly in the Champions League, looking wholly out-of-sorts with the demands of European soccer. Roberto Mancini will be under immense pressure to get a win and the rumor mill is already blazing that he could be axed in December. He’s got the talent, but there are doubts he knows how to marshal it. Keys to the game are the Argentine duo of Carlos Tevez and Sergio “Kun” Aguero – but don’t be shocked if Mario Balotelli is a difference maker.

WHY REAL MADRID WILL WIN

Real Madrid have stumbled in their title defense, sitting an unconscionable third behind arch-rivals Barcelona and city rivals Atletico Madrid. The agony! They are coming off a hard fought draw with Borussia Dortmund and have to right the ship. Jose Mourinho has had to contend with injuries, but he has the second-best player in the world on his roster, the red-hot Cristiano Ronaldo. He can score from anywhere and he’s likely to be the player that decides this game.
