CHELSEA VS. LIVERPOOL

WHY CHELSEA WILL WIN

Chelsea are playing perhaps the best soccer of any team in England right now, and only a packed schedule seems to be able to slow them down. A point off United in the table after leading for nine weeks, this is a major game and a badly needed three points for Roberto Di Matteo’s men. They have but a single home loss this season thanks to the craft of Eden Hazard and Juan Mata, but the spotlight will be on former Liverpool hit man Fernando Torres. Can he punish his old club?

WHY LIVERPOOL WILL WIN

It wasn’t too long ago that we were wondering if the Reds were going to be battling relegation this season. They’ve righted the ship somewhat but have a lot of ground to still make up. New manager Brendan Rodgers doesn’t have the depth up top to make a serious run at the title but has one genuine star in Uruguyan bad-boy Luis Suarez, who once again saved the day this last week with a late tying goal against Newcastle. Liverpool has dominated this fixture of late but have only won two games so far this season in the league and only one on the road. Can they get a win in London?
