why barcelona will win

Barcelona remain perfect through their first two games and this, the first of back-to-back games against the Scottish giants, is seen by many as another six points in the bag for the Champions League favorites. But the Catalans do have problems: Sergio Busquets is supended and Carlos Puyol is injured meaning they will field a makeshift defense against a tough Celtic side that is brimming with confidence. Expect the wee magician, Lionel Messi, to clamp down on the Scots early on.

WHY CELTIC WILL WIN

The Bhoys are riding high after a famous win in Russia over Spartak Moscow. True, it was against ten men, but it was their first group stage win in the Champions League in 19 games, and the result is a big weight off their backs. Celtic are currently riding high in Scotland, with a two point lead on Edinburgh’s Hibs, largely due to the hot form of Gary Hooper. He’s got nine league goals in eight games and will have to produce if the Hoops are going to make a dent at the formidable Camp Nou.
