Emile Sinclair netted the only goal as Peterborough beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in Saturday's pre-season fixture at London Road.

Sinclair was on target from close range to give the League One club victory over the west Londoners.

French trialist Yohann Lasimant thought he had opened the scoring after half-an-hour but the referee deemed that the ball had gone out of play during the move.

Peterborough keeper Joe Day twice denied Alejandro Faurlin before Sinclair sealed the contest with a scruffy winner.
