Barcelona gets win over AC Milan

Lionel Messi ended one of his poorest scoring runs in years with a two-goal performance that lifted Barcelona to a 3-1 victory over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Messi scored a 30th-minute penalty for his first goal at the Camp Nou Stadium since Sept. 24 before Sergio Busquets doubled the hosts lead with an angled header nine minutes later.
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique re-directed Kaka's pass into goal just before halftime to allow Milan to cut the lead in half, but Messi sealed the win after finishing a combination with Cesc Fabregas in the 83rd.
Barcelona moved closer to clinching a place in the second round after extending its lead atop Group H. Barcelona leads with 10 points, Milan has five points.
