Sammer confirms Bayern desire

Bayern Munich's director of sport Matthias Sammer has promised his side's motivation will not waver in the final four games of the Bundesliga season as they search for even more records.
Since clinching the title two weeks ago, Bayern have beaten Nurnberg 4-0 and Hannover 6-1, as well as thrashing Wolfsburg 6-1 in the DFB-Pokal semi-final - showing a hunger which Sammer says will not diminish.
"We wanted to win because we wanted to beat 81 points for a season, which is the record up to now," he said after Saturday's 26th win of the campaign.
"You've got to pay the team a huge compliment."
The win took Bayern on to 81 points with four games of the season remaining, and set them up well for Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona.
That game is now the priority, although Sammer insists future Bayern coach and former Barca tactician Pep Guardiola has not been contacted for advice.
"We certainly haven't spoken to him," Sammer told Sport1 television.
"It would be morally wrong towards (coach) Jupp Heynckes and Pep Guardiola to do such a thing."
