Lightning’s Stamkos impresses with spot-on memory of goals

TAMPA, Fla. — Steven Stamkos’ skill on the ice is no secret. However, his recall of goals scored is equally as impressive.

In a recent video by TSN, the star Tampa Bay Lightning center was asked about two random goals in a victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Nov. 7, 2013. With no time to prep his answer, his description of the events fit reality in a scary-good way. It brought to mind a professional golfer who can revisit each shot made, good or bad, after a round on the PGA Tour.

Stamkos has 233 goals in six seasons with the Lightning, so he should have many good memories.
