The Tampa Bay Lightning have named their top 20 personnel of all time.
The Alumni Almanac, as dubbed by the Lightning, features 14 skaters, two goaltenders and four non-players, made up of coaches and managers.
Three of the skaters are current Lightning players, Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavalier and Steven Stamkos.
Topping the list with the most goals, assists, points and games played is Lecavalier.
Stamkos, the youngest player on the list, is one of three players who were originally first overall selections in the NHL Entry Draft, along with Roman Hamrlik and Lecavalier.
Ten players on the list were part of the Lightning’s 2004 Stanley Cup Championship team.
Non-players that made the list include: Phil Esposito, the man who brought the Lightning to Tampa Bay; Terry Crisp, the team’s original coach; Jay Feaster, general manager from 2001-2008; and John Tortorella who coached the Lightning from 2001-2008 and in just six seasons has 239 wins. making him the all-time leader in franchise history.
The list was compiled by a vote of fans through www.20YearsofThunder.com during the offseason.
