Miami Heat backup guard Roger Mason Jr. and his sister reportedly were among the victims robbed at a Miami restaurant Sunday night.
Several South Florida TV stations reported Mason's Rolex watch and his sister's purse were recovered Monday after a vehicle chase that ended with the arrest of two suspects, according to Miami police.
Mason, his sister and several other people were victims of an armed robbery at Ni.Do. Caffe, an Italian mozzarella bar at 7295 Biscayne Blvd. Police said shots were fired either in or near the restaurant but no one was hit.
Miami police were looking for a black or blue Escalade and received a tip Monday on the car's location. Investigators found the Escalade and attempted to stop it after two suspects got in and fled.
The suspects led police on a late-afternoon chase that ended when the Escalade rammed a police officer's vehicle, police said.
Mason, a 10-year NBA veteran, is in his first season with the Heat.
Earlier Sunday evening, Miami defeated Charlotte 99-98 at AmericanAirlines Arena.
