Rays rookie Chris Archer leaves game in second inning

The right-hander allowed a run in the first on Wednesday night and got two outs in the second before leaving with a 2-1 count against Didi Gregorius.
Tampa Bay's trainer and manager Joe Maddon came out to the mound, and Archer had a disgusted look on his face as they talked to him. Maddon called Alex Torres out of the bullpen and Archer was consoled by teammates before walking off the field.
The Rays say Archer has right forearm tightness and was removed as a precaution.
Archer was the AL pitcher of the month in July after going 4-0 with a 0.73 ERA in five starts.
