Marlins reassign infielder Scott Sizemore to minor-league camp

The Miami Marlins reassigned infielder Scott Sizemore to minor-league camp on Friday afternoon.

Sizemore, 30, hit .333 (4 for 12) with three runs and an RBI in parts of 13 Grapefruit League games this spring.

Since making his big-league debut in 2010, Sizemore has hit .240 with 32 doubles, a triple, 14 home runs and 74 RBI in 166 games between the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics and New York Yankees.

Thirty-six players remain in major-league camp. The season opener against the Atlanta Braves is 10 days away.
