Martin St. Louis named Lady Byng finalist

Martin St. Louis could win third Lady Byng Award in four years.

TAMPA, Fla. – The NHL announced that Tampa Bay Lightning winger Martin St. Louis is a finalist for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, awarded to “the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.”
Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane and New York Islanders winger Matt Moulson are also finalists. The winner, as voted on by members of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association, will be announced during the Stanley Cup Finals.
St. Louis, who led the NHL with 60 points and 43 assists, is a two-time Lady Byng Trophy winner (2009-10 and 2010-11). He was named a finalist for the award on four other occasions.
