Get a coach’s-eye view of Hurricanes’ spring game

"C’mon, Kevin! C’mon, Kevin! C’mon, Kevin!"

The University of Miami’s YouTube account released a video Thursday titled "Inside a Scoring Drive" that allowed viewers to see through the eyes of offensive coordinator James Coley.

Coley wore Google Glass for the spring game April 12 at Sun Life Stadium.

The second-year coach offered play calls such as "12 personnel" from the sideline as well as words of encouragement during the drive that culminated on Walter Tucker’s touchdown run.

For much of the two-minute-long video, Coley provides instruction to redshirt freshman quarterback Kevin Olsen, who is first on the depth chart since Ryan Williams tore his ACL.

"There you go," Coley said. "You had a bad snap there, huh? You’ve got to come up with your hands high."

It is the second behind-the-scenes look from the spring game. A little less than two weeks ago, the Hurricanes posted video from the Schutt Vision camera that senior linebacker Denzel Perryman wore.
