Florida State improves two positions to No. 6 in poll
FSU moved up two spots to No. 6 in both polls, Miami moves up to 13 and UF jumped to 17.

Florida State moved up two spots to No. 6 in both the AP and the USA Today coaches polls, and Florida gained two spots to No. 17 in the USA Today coaches poll on Sunday afternoon.
Miami moved up a spot to No. 13 in the AP poll and held firm at No. 14 in the coaches poll.
Seminoles (5-0) are knocking on the top 5 after a 63-0 rout of Maryland in which Jameis Winston passed for career highs in passing yards (393) and passing touchdowns (five). Florida State has a bye week before facing No. 3 Clemson on Oct. 19.
Miami (5-0) bent on defense but pulled away to defeat Georgia Tech 45-30. Stephen Morris passes for three touchdowns for the Hurricanes, who now have a bye week.
Florida (4-1) dominated Arkansas 30-10 as Tyler Murphy had three passing touchdowns -- two to Solomon Patton -- in his first start at the Swamp. The Gators play at No. 11 LSU on Saturday.
