In-state rivals Miami and Florida have scheduled a home-and-home men’s basketball series over the next two seasons.

The teams will face off for the first time since 2009 when the Gators took down the Hurricanes 74-60 in the second round of the NIT.

Florida will host Miami on Nov. 17 before the squads meet in South Florida for the 2015-16 season for the first time since 2005.

The Gators lead the all-time series 45-22, having won 15 of 17. Miami last beat Florida in 2004 in a 72-65 victory in Gainesville.

While Miami finished this past season 17-16 and missed both the NIT and NCAA Tournament, Florida reached its fifth Final Four and lost to eventual champion Connecticut to close out with a 36-3 record.
