Dolphins vs. Cowboys in Hall of Fame Game

The Miami Dolphins will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the Pro Football Hall of Game in Canton, Ohio on Aug. 4. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast by NBC.



The Dolphins have played in the Hall of Fame Game on three previous occassions — most recently in 2005 — losing all three times.



The Cowboys will be making their fifth appearance in the game — they lasted played it in 2010. They are 1-3 all-time in the Hall of Fame game.



The game will be played one day after the induction of the 2013 class into the Hall of Fame. Three people with ties to the Dolphins and/or Cowboys are set to be enshrined.



Bill Parcells coached in Dallas from 2003-06. He served as the Dolphins’ executive vice president of football operations from 2007-10.



Larry Allen was a seven-time all-pro guard with the Cowboys from 1994-2005.



Cris Carter played his final season in the NFL with the Dolphins in 2002.



Other members of the 2013 class include defensive tackles Curley Culp and Warren Sapp, tackle Jonathan Ogden, and linebacker Dave Robinson.
