The Citrus Bowl will host the Cure Bowl beginning in 2015

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A new bowl is coming to Orlando.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and officials from the Orlando Sports Foundation announced the creation of the Cure Bowl on Wednesday. The game will be held at the Florida Citrus Bowl in December 2015 and feature teams from the American Athletic and Sun Belt conferences.

Officials from both leagues were on hand with Dyer for the announcement.

The game will help benefit breast cancer research and will be Orlando’s third bowl game, joining the Russell Athletic Bowl and Capital One Bowl.
