Bucs’ Gerald McCoy makes appearance on ‘The Colbert Report’

Gerald McCoy: All-Pro, Pro Bowler … comedian?

The four-year defensive tackle is one of the best personalities in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ locker room, and his versatility was on display during a segment on "The Colbert Report" that aired Wednesday night.

In the seven-plus minute clip, McCoy helps train comedian Stephen Colbert to play football, along with four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Isaac Bruce. Former Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs and renowned quarterbacks expert Steve Clarkson also made cameos.

McCoy is introduced, in part, as "300 pounds of angry man meat," which sounds about right after his career-high nine sacks last season. Whenever he’s finished with football, a future behind a camera awaits him.
