Buccaneers waive Damaso Munoz to move closer to 75-man limit

TAMPA, Fla. — Linebacker Damaso Munoz became the latest player waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team announced the transaction Monday in advance of the 4 p.m. deadline Tuesday to trim the roster to 75 men. On Sunday, the Bucs released long-snapper Jeremy Cain and waived defensive tackle Euclid Cummings, offensive lineman Jace Daniels, wide receiver Skye Dawson, offensive lineman Jason Foster, defensive end Ryne Giddins, guard R.J. Mattes, wide receiver Eric Page, wide receiver Tommy Streeter, defensive end Chaz Sutton, quarterback Alex Tanney and fullback Ian Thompson.

The Bucs must part ways with two more players before Tuesday’s deadline. They close the preseason schedule against the Washington Redskins on Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium.
