Buccaneers release Jeremy Cain, waive 11 more

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived 11 players and released one Sunday in advance of the deadline to trim their roster to 75 players by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers waived 11 players and released one Sunday in advance of the deadline to trim their roster to 75 players by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Long-snapper Jeremy Cain was released. Meanwhile, defensive tackle Euclid Cummings, offensive lineman Jace Daniels, wide receiver Skye Dawson, offensive lineman Jason Foster, defensive end Ryne Giddins, guard R.J. Mattes, wide receiver Eric Page, wide receiver Tommy Streeter, defensive end Chaz Sutton, quarterback Alex Tanney and fullback Ian Thompson were waived.

The Bucs still must clear three more roster spots before Tuesday's deadline.
