TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will become acquainted with the late July and early August heat.
On Tuesday, the team announced the schedule for its 12 public practices, including an Aug. 1 night session at Raymond James Stadium. In a change from last year, practices will begin later in the day — at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Sessions will be held at One Buc Place for the sixth consecutive year. Parking and admission will be free.
"The excitement surrounding our upcoming season has been building for months around the Tampa Bay area and we are thrilled to announce an even greater number of opportunities for our fans to come out to One Buccaneer Place to see our team prepare for what promises to be a great season," Bucs chief operating officer Brian Ford said in a release. "This year, more than half of the 12 open practices will be conducted in the late afternoon and early evening hours, allowing for cooler temperatures and a more convenient post-work viewing window for our fans."
