4:30 - 9 p.m.: Cabela's "College Day" *All student anglers will be bussed from Sneaky Pete's to Cabela's for a shopping trip brought to you by Cabela's where each team will receive a $100 gift card. Dinner will be provided en route.

Northwestern State Takes 1st in Arkansas Tech Invitational
The Arkansas Tech University College Bass Invitational held last weekend on nearby Lake Dardanelle turned out to be one of the largest college tournaments held to date, with 89 anglers, representing 19 schools and involving a total of 46 teams.
The Northwestern State University (La.) team of Jeff Rich (left) and Nathan Fields finished top of the class with an impressive total weight of 37.24 pounds for 10 bass. The second place Murray State team of Dan Langton and Don Winters also weighed a five fish limit on both days for a total of 35.06 pounds.
Texas A&M Takes 1st at the Lone Star Collegiate Spring Breakout
The tournament held on Lake Belton - The Aggies Texas A&M team of Justin Rackley and Kenny Stewart that won the event with a five bass limit weighing 13.40 pounds. Their weight was one-half pound better than the Texas Tech (Lubbock) team of Jacob Szot and Dustin Cotton, who finished second with 12.90 pounds.

The Aggies took home the coveted Boat U.S. Bass Fishing Trophy in 2007, submitting a 7.5 bass taking home 14K and scholarship money! Nice!

Purdue University dominated the field this year taking home the title of 2008 Big Ten Tourney Champions. The tournament was held at Lake Maxinkuckee, near Culver, Ind.
Fighting harsh temperatures and a steady 15 mph wind the anglers from Purdue were able to overcome the elements and claim their fourth Big Ten Title. The top 3 teams from Purdue combined for 15 keepers totaling a combined weight of 29.44 lbs. Michigan St. placed second with 10 keepers and a combined weight of 17.70 lbs. Wisconsin weighed in 8 keepers for 14 lbs. to claim third place.
Club President Aaron McAlexander and his partner Paul Smith claimed the Big Sack of the day bringing in 11.38 lbs. Smith also caught the largest bass of the tournament weighing in at 4.36 lbs.
