[Comment From RBs King HawaiianRBs King Hawaiian: ]
I was offered Demaryius Thomas and the #18 pick for Jimmy Graham and Russell Wilson. I pick 10th every round. We start 3 WRs and I also kept Dez and AJ Green. Do I do the deal, or just stay put? Probably fine either way but wouldn't mind the extra pick for some more RBs.

John Halpin:
It depends on a lot of things - a big one is how many QBs (and others) are kept. But I think I'd stay put.

John Halpin:
I like Ivory - have him at RB20. Look at how many carries Shonn Greene had in 2012, and remember that Ivory is better. However, he seems injury prone, so there's risk.

John Halpin:
I bumped him up a little to WR33, but it's so hard to predict that one until we see the offense in a game. They'll probably run a lot, they have some new tight ends ...

Looking over the Fox Mock Draft 2.0 and I pick in the same slot as Saraf. In Round 2 he went D Thomas, but RB's are the hot commodity. What RB is the last in line for you before jumping to a WR1 or QB pick in the first few rounds?

John Halpin:
Lynch/Charles before considering Megatron at 8, then Rice/Morris before Graham at 11. However, I would not take Megatron AND Graham.

You mean more than, say, Foster over Tate in HOU? Browns, Jags, Seahawks, 'Skins, Bucs, Bears, Titans, maybe even Pats.

Not a lot of difference between those guys on my board. Unless the RB draft pool is gone due to keepers, keep the pick.

If you have a middle round first round pick do you go RB, RB, QB?

Thursday August 8, 2013 2:42 KG

2:43

John Halpin:
I don't pick the QB. I'll be content as the guy to pick one of the last few QBs in Round 6 or 7. Kaep, Wilson, RGIII, Romo ... fine with me.

Thursday August 8, 2013 2:43 John Halpin

[Comment From RonRon: ]

2:44

John Halpin:
I assume there are keepers involved. So many variables - maybe wait longer, since the guys I mentioned in the previous answer will be available and have top-6 upside.

Follow up QB question, last QB you're comfortable with as starter?

Thursday August 8, 2013 2:44 jason in COS

2:45

John Halpin:
I have Romo at 12, and I'm comfortable with that. If someone picks a 2nd QB before I get my first, and I end up with Eli or Big Ben, I'm disappointed but still OK. I probably draft a good backup (like Cutler) if that happens.

Thursday August 8, 2013 2:46 Mike in the 303

2:47

John Halpin:
Yes. The QBs and top WRs will go, and you could get 3 solid RBs if you want them. Warning: Someone was on autopick in a mock I had yesterday, and blew up my QB-waiting strategy by getting Peyton & Cam.

Thursday August 8, 2013 2:48 Ricky

2:49

John Halpin:
Not "worried," but I have him fifth behind Peterson, Martin, McCoy and Spiller. I wonder if Tate's return to health will encourage them to pull back on Foster just a little.
