Here are three 2013 fantasy football storylines coming out of the NFC South I'll be paying attention to during training camp and through the end of August:

1) Aside from Cam Newton, Steve Smith and Greg Olsen, do the Panthers have any fantasy talent owners can rely on week-to-week?

  • Nobody trusts the two-headed monster of Stewart and Williams, but somebody is always forced to take them
  • Brandon LaFell had moments in 2012 where owners believed he could help their team
  • It's Cam and Olsen until other evidence comes to light

2) Will Steven Jackson have an opportunity to become a top six or seven fantasy running back in the pass-happy Falcons' offense?

  • Falcons' beat reporter said don't be surprised if you continue to see Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling get touches in 2013
  • Jackson should receive more work inside the 10 than he did while a member of the St. Louis Rams

3) Could Lance Moore see enough targets to warrant WR2 status in 2013?

  • Finished with a career high in receiving yards in 2012 (six touchdowns)
  • Averaged 16.0 yards per reception
  • Still behind Marques Colston and Jimmy Graham
