After registering with the site, create your entry for Riggle's Picks. Check the box to receive weekly reminder emails. Select your favorite team to join the official group for fans of that team.
If you've received a group invitation via email, clicking the link in the email will also start the process to create an entry.
After you've created an entry, decide what group to join. Or create your own.
Groups consist of both official "Fans of" groups and user-created groups. A group may be a public group which does not require a password or a private group which may require a password.
Once you're in a group, you can begin inviting friends, family and co-workers to join. From within the Groups section, click the "Invite Friends" menu link and begin entering email addresses. If you've played in a group in previous seasons, you can simply check the box next to each former group member's name. It's that easy.
If you're not in a group, you can still invite your friends to join the game. Click the "Invite Friends" link from within your Entry.
Plus, you can invite your friends on Facebook by following the step-by-step instructions. It's very easy.
The set of games available for Riggle's Picks are unveiled each Thursday. Depending on your entry settings, you may receive an email reminder.
Once the games are available, you can make your four picks for the week. The first two games are the same for both you, the user, and the NFL on FOX crew. The third game is decided on the air by Curt and presented to you via video. The fourth game is an upset special where you must choose the underdog.
During the regular season, one point is awarded for each correct pick. A bonus point is awarded if your correct pick is also the underdog for the game.
During the playoffs, the points awarded increase throughout the playoffs. No bonus points are awarded for the underdog, however.
Track your results and compare yourself to the NFL on FOX crew. Did you beat them for the week? How about for the season?
