SCORING

Why does the spread keep changing and how does this affect my entry?
Oddsmakers update the spread periodically throughout the week. Spread values do not lock when you make your picks, they lock every Wednesday at 12p ET. If you make your picks earlier in the week, you may want to check back and review any updated spreads.
When do my picks lock?
All public group entries will lock at the individual game's start time. Private group entries have the option of locking entries at the first game of the pickset.
What's the difference between Spread and Non-Spread scoring?
Groups using Spread scoring will pick against a weekly spread set on Wednesday each week. The pick process works the same for both scoring formats, however scoring in a league using Spread scoring is based on the weekly spread. In the case of a "push", the pick will be marked as incorrect. Non spread league picks are based on the winner of each matchup.
Using a spread entry, if the teams tie after the spread is applied, am I credited with a correct pick?
No, you are not. A team must exceed the spread in order for a pick to be correct.
How does the "Drop Lowest Score" setting work?
Groups using this setting will have the lowest scoring weeks removed from their total score and leaderboard. Groups may choose to drop between 1 and 4 weeks. For example if a group's Drop Lowest Score setting is set to 2, each entry in the group would drop the two lowest scoring weeks from the leaderboard. This does not impact the overall contest standings.
How does scoring with a spread entry work?
If your entry is picking with the spread, the spread is listed to the right of the home team. For instance, if the home team is listed with a spread of "-5", then the home team must win by more than 5 points. If the home team is listed with a spread of "+5", it must not lose by more than 5 or more points.
How do confidence points work?
Confidence points allow members to specify a weight to how confident they are that a pick will be correct. Groups may choose to use "Standard" or "Custom" confidence points. Playing with the Standard setting each pick must be assigned a unique confidence rating between 1 and 16 (in the case of a 16-game week). When using “Custom” confidence points, a user may assign confidence points in any manner they choose.
