News and Analysis
Hoyer -- who was inactive Sunday against the Ravens due to a shoulder injury -- finished the season with a 55.3 percent completion rate, 3,326 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Impact: Hoyer returned from 2013 ACL surgery to lead the Browns to a 7-4 start, but was unable to turn the strong beginning into the franchise's first playoff berth since 2002. Things eventually fell apart for the 29-year-old, who racked up seven picks over a three-game stretch before effectively being replaced by rookie Johnny Manziel. Hoyer is now set to become an unrestricted free agent, and although he hasn't slammed the door shut on a return to Cleveland, he'll likely want to end up in a destination where he can compete for a starting job. Though Manziel had a rocky finish to 2014, his status as a first-round pick will likely give him the upper hand in a competition, should Hoyer stick around.
